Lightroom - How To Create A Snapshot

Snapshots in Lightroom are like digital bookmarks. They are useful for keeping a record of when you are happy with the processing you have achieved on an image. Each Snapshot is unique to an image that you are working on at that time, and you can create as many Snapshots as you want.
To create one, click the ‘+’ symbol in the Snapshots Tool panel, and you are prompted to give your Snapshot a name, and press Create. Your new Snapshot now appears in the Snapshots Tool panel. So whatever you subsequently do in the processing panel with your file, you can always get back to that point in time.
